Catherine Dayhoff, DAOM, Dipl.Ac, LAc received her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR and received her master degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle Washington. Catherine is licensed to practice in WA and CO.

Dr. Duarte is a nationally certified and state Licensed Acupuncturist, as well as a Certified Homeopath from National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He holds a BA in Chemical and Biological Sciences from the National University of Mexico, an MA in Psycho-physical Therapies from the Mexican Institute of Human Improvement and a PhD and MA in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine; where he subsequently served as a faculty member for many years.

Leslie Emerick, MPA, has over 23 years of legislative and public policy experience with state government. She was an elected Douglas County Commissioner in eastern WA from 1997-2000. Leslie was a legislative liaison for the WA State Department of Agriculture and the Assistant Director of Constituent and Legislative Relations for the WA State Department of Health. She has a Master of Public Administration degree from The Evergreen State College, a BA in Speech Communication and a second BA in Secondary Education and a minor in Political Science from Western WA University. Leslie started her own contract lobbying business in 2006 and has currently has five health care related clients.

Dr. Su has earned his degree in 1988 at Chengdu University, one of the most renown universities in China. Dr. Su is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Washington. He is also a diplomat of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology as granted by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition to his current private practice, Dr. Su has been active in the education of future practitioners of acupuncture and oriental medicine.

Charis Wolf, MSTCM, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., is a Nationally licensed acupuncturist practicing in WA state, a clinical herbalist with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been in practice for over 11 years and previously had 4 years of Chemistry including laboratory experience doing biomedical research.
9:45 - 10:00am "Treasurer's Report" Dr. Yang graduated from the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 1970. He has taught acupuncture and TCM for more than 27 years both in China and the United States.
To date, Jianfeng Yang has received his master degree of medicine in China in 1983 and has held the position of visiting professor at the Chengdu University of TCM. He served as the president of the Acupuncture College at the Chengdu University of TCM, one of five members of the standing council, Sichuan Branch of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, as well as the Director of the Clinic Branch at the Chengdu Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
About The Washington East Asian Medicine Association first began as the Acupuncture Association of
Washington over 33 years ago. The organization helped to
provide a unified legislative voice for our profession. In fact, our
founders were integral in helping establish the legal practice of
East Asian Medicine in Washington
state. Our all-volunteer Board of Directors consists of not less than 5 democratically elected professionals in the field.
